Materials:
1. Large paper plate
2. White cardstock for ears and snout
3. Googly eyes
4. White tissue paper torn in pieces
5. Glue
6. Scissors
7. Black marker*
*Use to fill in middle of ears and draw nose and mouth on snout
2. Puffy Paint Polar Bear Painting (Preschool)
Materials:
1. Puffy paint
2. Sandy paint
3. Light blue construction paper
5. Pencil
6. Black marker for eye
Puffy Paint Recipe
Combine equal parts white glue and shaving cream in a bowl, and mix well.
Sandy Paint recipe
Combine equal parts craft sand and paint in a bowl, and mix well.

Combine equal parts craft sand and paint in a bowl, and mix well.
Directions:
1. Download and cut out a polar bear template.
2. Draw a line across the sheet of blue construction paper for the top of the ground. Trace a polar bear standing on this line.
3. Carefully spread puffy paint on the inside of the polar bear.
4. Paint the bottom with sandy paint for the ground. Allow to dry. The paints will retain a unique texture when dry.

5. Googly eyes
6. Black cardstock
7. Hole punch
8. Scissors
9. Glue
3. Carefully spread puffy paint on the inside of the polar bear.
4. Paint the bottom with sandy paint for the ground. Allow to dry. The paints will retain a unique texture when dry.

Instructions:
1. Print template on white cardstock.
2. Color template with black crayon, and cut it out.
3. Pull cotton balls apart into small pieces, and glue them on top of the polar bear
4. Glue on a googly eye.
5. Hole punch a nose out of the black cardstock, and glue it on.
4. Polar Bears on the Ice Picture

Materials:
1. White cardstock
2. Watercolor paints
3. Water
4. Cups for water
5. Bear template document
6. Wax paper
7. Scissors
8. Glue bottle
9. Glue stick
Instructions:
1. First use watercolor paints to cover the paper in shades of blue to represent the sky and the sea.
2. Tear of large pieces of wax paper. Crinkle them up, and then spread glue on one side. Glue them onto the bottom half of the paper to look like hills and slopes of ice.
3. To make the ice look more white and less clear, put more layers of wax paper over the top.
4. Cut out two to three polar bears, and use a glue stick to attach them to the wax paper.
