Baby Storytime Schedule

I don't limit my storytimes to children of a set age, but I do cater them to children of a given age rage. My baby storytime is for children 0 to 2 years old. My baby storytime is composed of two parts. The first part is the songs and stories, which lasts for about 15-20 minutes. The second part is baby art and sensory time, which lasts for 45 or so minutes. Parents leave when they feel like it.

My baby storytime set-up is as follows:

Opening song: We tap hola like this
                         We tap hola like this
                          Hi-ho cherry
                          We tap hola like this

                          Continue with other verses:
                          We drop hola like this...
                          We circle hola like this...
                          We spin hola like this...
                          We toss hola like this...
                           We spin hola like this...

Baby Art and Sensory Time is a process-based program that provides hands-on exploration through all five senses in a taste-safe environment.  On a weekly basis, I use various foods to make different kinds of slime, paint, kinetic sand, cloud dough, etc. If a non-food item, such as shaving cream, is used, it is sealed inside of a Ziploc bag.

You can find a regularly growing list of my activities for sensory time here.
