About Me

Starting in 2015, I was a Youth Services Librarian for 5 years. From July 2016 until July 2020, I worked as the Youth Services Librarian at a public library in Texas. I provided three storytimes a week at my branch in addition to programming for older children. This blog represents my ideas for storytimes including crafts and sensory times from that time period. Being a librarian was my second career. I taught kindergarten for 8 years before going back to school to get my MLIS. I have now returned to teaching in the classroom.
