2. Paper Towel Tube Penguin  (Preschool)

I modified an idea from https://www.thebestideasforkids.com

Materials:
1. Orange construction paper for feathers on head, beak, and feet
2. Black construction paper for wings
3. Googly eyes
4. White construction paper for stomach
5. Black paint
6. Paint brushes
7. Plates to put paint on
8. Scissors
9. Glue

Instructions:
1. Paint the tube black. Let dry.
2. Add googly eyes to the top part of the tube.
3. Cut out a beak and feet from the orange construction paper. Glue them on.
4. Cut a "u" shape out of white paper for the stomach. Glue it on to the tube.
5. Cut two wings out of black paper. Glue them to the sides of the tube.
6. The feathers on the top are optional. Some types of penguins have them, and some don't. To make the feathers, cut a rectangle out of orange construction paper. Cut sections into it like you would for making grass out of construction paper leaving a piece at the bottom uncut all the way across. Glue it into the top of the tube.
